The oil is extracted from the rind of the orange through a process called "expression" or "cold pressing" which is used to squeeze the oil from the rind itself.

Lime Essential Oil is a great pick-me-up for those moments were you may feel a little sluggish, or you need a refreshing scent for your room. Lime Essential Oil is popularly cold pressed, however, this oil can also be steam-distilled.

Cold pressed lime essential oil is highly phototoxic, meaning that if this oil is applied on the skin, even in a blend, the that area of the skin can become very sensitive to sunlight and cause sunburn or blisters. Steam distilled lime oil is not phototoxic, however, caution should still be applied when blending for skin products. Please review all safety information regarding Lime essential oil.

Grapefruit Essential Oil is another invigorating citrus oil and is also cold pressed. This oil is great for mediating depression symptoms, stress and migraine headaches. This oil can also be phototoxic, so careful research and safety should be applied if incorporating this oil in skin products.

Lemon Essential Oil is widely known for its odor reducing properties. It is great for Spring-time cleaning, and smells nicely when blended with Peppermint for small gatherings. Lemon is fresh and energizing. The inhalation of Lemon Essential Oil can also help with feelings of nausea or upset stomach as well.
